Lawd! Drake continues to fan the flames on his “Not Like Us” beef with DeMar DeRozan as the Toronto rapper threatens to pull down the former Toronto Raptor player’s jersey if it’s ever retired.

As a refresher, Drake was Team DeMar DeRozan when the basketball player used to play for the Toronto Raptors, and even after he left and joined several other teams. However, things changed with Drake and DeMar DeRozan’s friendship when the baller was name-dropped in Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.” Lamar, who is a Compton, California native like DeRozan, rapped, “I’m glad DeRoz’ came home, y’all didn’t deserve him neither.”
DeRozan went on to appear in Lamar’s music video for his “Not Like Us” Drake diss and he also appeared on stage with the Compton rapper at his “Pop Out” concert for Juneteenth. DeRozan came up on stage with LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden, other ballers who once had a friendship with Drake.

Before DeMar DeRozan climbed on stage at Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth concert and made a cameo in his “Not Like Us” music video, he previously told Shannon Sharpe that Drake would “forever have a friend in [him].” However, after the “Not Like Us” beef, the feelings between DeRozan and Drake were clearly no longer mutual; especially now as the Toronto rapper threatens to pull down the former Raptor player’s jersey if it’s ever retired.
On Saturday (November 2), Drake appeared and commentated on a broadcast showing the Toronto Raptors versus the Sacramento Kings — DeMar DeRozan’s former and current NBA teams, respectively. At the game, NBA veteran Vince Carter had his jersey retired and while joining the broadcast team, Drake went out of his way to take a jab at former Raptors All-Star DeMar DeRozan — seemingly still holding a grudge in their “Not Like Us” beef.

Live on-air, Drake said, “If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself.” Drake also called DeRozan a “goof” in another conversation. Social media also speculated that while standing in the audience, Drake also whispered “F**k outa here, p***y,” as DeRozan walked by.
After the game, DeMar DeRozan was asked about his thoughts on Drake’s threat to pull his jersey down if it’s ever retired. He said, “He’s gonna have a long way to climb to take it down. Tell him, ‘Good luck.’”
Meanwhile, as Drake was calling out and trash-talking DeMar DeRozan at last night’s Kings-Raptors game, Drake’s mentor and Young Money boss Lil Wayne was hosting his annual Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans. Atlanta rap legend and mogul Jermaine Dupri ended up calling out Drake’s absence, claiming, “Could not have been me.”
