It appears Kate Beckinsale has quite a few bumps while filming Canary Black. The actor took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot, which involved her sustaining multiple stunt injuries. Kate Beckinsale claps back at ‘Canary Black’ review with BTS photos

Kate Beckinsale proved she went through the wringer to shoot her film Canary Black. The actor posted photos and videos of her sustaining stunt injuries as a clapback at one of the film’s reviews. It stated that the stunt doubles were involved in “heavy lifting.” In the post’s caption, she said, “Kicking impeccably chic a** — and a couple of close ups doesn’t half hurt lol.”

In response to the review, the actor posted several close-up images of severe bruises on her hands, arms, and fingers. She also posted an X-ray that seemingly proved that the injuries were, in fact, real. In addition to this, she hit back at the review by posting more videos of her taking up dangerous stunts involving drones and harnesses. Fans flooded the comments section showing their support. While some commended Beckinsale’s strength, others applauded her strong response to the review.

Meanwhile, Kate Beckinsale’s stunt double for Canary Black, Laura Vörtler, also stood by the actor’s response. She attested that the actor did a “huge bit” than the close-up shots claimed by the review. Moreover, Vörtler revealed that she was impressed by Beckinsale’s commitment, strength, and attitude towards nailing the stunts. In response to this, the actor also showcased her love for the stunt double’s support and clarification.

Kate Beckinsale plays CIA agent Avery Graves in the Pierre Morel directorial. The character is blackmailed by terrorists to go against her own country to save her husband. Canary Black is available to stream on Amazon Prime.
