The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, one of the spin-off series to AMC’s The Walking Dead, concluded its sophomore run on Sunday, November 3. The network announced the third season back in July 2024. The teaser trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 came out while the Season 2 finale was airing.

The aforementioned clip shows Daryl and Carol in Spain. He says to her, “I was ready to give up. Thought it was all over,” prompting her to respond, “You and me both.”

You can watch the teaser trailer below:

At the end of Season 2, the two protagonists are in a tunnel, making their way to London from France. It’s unclear how and when they will end up in Spain in Season 3. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premiered on September 10, 2023. Meanwhile, the second season, also known as The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, debuted on September 29, 2024.

As mentioned above, AMC greenlit the third season in July 2024. Currently in production in Madrid, the season’s filming locations include the Galicia, Catalonia, Aragón, and Valencia regions of Spain.

The official logline reads, “Season three will follow Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier as they continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.”

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 is slated to debut on AMC and AMC+ sometime in 2025. Besides Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, the upcoming season features Óscar Jaenada, Eduardo Noriega, Alexandra Masangkay, Stephen Merchant, and more.
