Isabel May, who starred in Taylor Sheridan’s western series 1883, is joining the upcoming revenge thriller film Wild World.
The movie follows “a young woman who must use her survival skills to track down her little sister and exact revenge on the men who abducted her.”
The movie will be directed by husband and wife duo Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly (Queenpins, Beneath the Harvest Sky) and it’s based on the script that they wrote.
May delivered an incredible performance in 1883 and I don’t recall seeing her in anything else since then, so it’s great to see that she’s landed a big movie role.
She is also set to star in another sci-fi horror movie titled Menace. In that film, May plays “a research student who has a psychotic breakdown and is remanded to the custody of her aunt and uncle in a small town.
“When strange things start happening around her and people start disappearing, she isn’t sure what is real or what is her imagination.”
Wild World is expected to start production in Fall/Winter 2025 in Australia.
