After being released from jail, Young Thug is already hinting at new music with frequent collaborator Lil Baby.
Young Thug is officially a free man after accepting a plea deal in the YSL Rico case, the longest trial in Fulton County history that’s still ongoing after his guilty plea. Thug’s release has several conditions, including avoiding felons and certain content in his music.
Fans have been awaiting new music from Thugger, and according to his tweets, he’s already cooking up something special. It seems the first thing on the agenda is collaborating with fellow Atlanta rapper Lil Baby. The two were friends before the music, and Thug played a pivotal role in Lil Baby’s rise to stardom.
Now that Thug is free, he tweeted to “Wham” a.k.a. Lil Baby, and hinted that it’s time for them to hit the studio.
“Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter,” he tweeted.
Billboard reports that Lil Baby responded in his Instagram Stories, telling Thug;
“I missed you mf!!!! Welcome home my brudda! Thank God you able to get back to your fam in good health and spirits! Wish ya none but billions jack! #whatwhamsaysgoes.”
To seemingly promote the upcoming music from the collaborators, “Whatever WHAM say goes” billboards have been spotted in L.A. and Chicago.
