Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children are still standing by his side, and they’re not being shy about their support.
The disgraced music mogul’s children posted a video to their Instagram pages showing a phone call with their father on his birthday on Monday, Nov. 4. Combs currently remains behind bars following his arrest on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The rapper’s children–Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, 26, and twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17–shared a Reel on his Instagram of them and their baby sibling, 2-year-old Love, calling their dad in prison to wish him a happy birthday. The video shows the older kids helping their baby sister sing to their dad, which she does enthusiastically.
Their other sister Chance, 18, was not there in person, but was still in attendance as she watched on another phone via FaceTime.
“I love you all, I love you all so much,” Combs says over the phone after Love finishes her song. “I can’t wait to see ya’ll. I can’t wait to see ya’ll. I just want to say I’m proud of ya’ll, especially the girls— I mean, all of ya’ll.”
“But just for being strong,” he continued. “Thank you all for being strong, thank you all for being by my side, supporting me, I love ya’ll. I get the best family in the world. My birthday, I’m happy. Thank you all for giving me this call. Thank you very much. I love you all.”
“Can’t wait to see you in a couple of days,” Justin says to his dad, to which he replies, “Aight, see you in a couple of days.”
After that, Love stuffed her face into the birthday cake, taking a bite out of the frosting.
“Pops, I love you. She’s eating the cake so you ain’t gonna have none left,” Quincy says.
“Get it, get it for Daddy,” Combs replied. “I love you.”
This comes just a couple weeks after six of Combs’ seven children shared a joint statement supporting their father in the wake of his indictment.
“The past month has devastated our family,” the Instagram post began. “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.”
The statement continued: “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD. Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie & D’Lila.”
