Gisele Bündchen Reportedly Craving Brazilian Dishes Amid Her Pregnancy

Gisele Bündchen is expecting a child with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, and has reportedly been indulging in Brazilian-inspired dishes to satisfy her pregnancy cravings.

The supermodel, who was recently seen showing her baby bump in Miami, is planning a home birth and will wait to learn the baby’s sex.

The pregnancy news surprised her ex-husband, Tom Brady, with whom Gisele Bündchen shares two children.

According to a source who recently spoke to the Daily Mail, Bündchen has  been craving dishes reminiscent of her childhood in Brazil, such as “grilled ribeye with chimichurri sauce and sautéed greens.”

The insider shared that to satisfy her cravings, the supermodel “is cooking those dishes at home with her kids.”

The 44-year-old supermodel has been enjoying banana smoothies for breakfast, and lunch often consists of pesto chicken wrapped in lettuce.

The source also highlighted that Bündchen is a “great cook,” effortlessly creating “incredible” meals using a “lot of fresh vegetables with spices.”

They noted that the cookbook author often treated her former partners, Tom Brady and Leonardo DiCaprio, to her homemade Brazilian dishes.

“Tom and Leo loved it when she brought home fresh ingredients and whipped up her Brazilian dishes,” the source shared. “It is a big part of her overall charm that she is quite domestic in many ways.”

Bündchen reportedly always took on the chef role in her relationships, “Now, she’s cooking for Joaquim.”

News of Bündchen’s pregnancy first surfaced in late October, when an insider shared with People Magazine that “Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life, and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”

Another source told TMZ that the supermodel is about five to six months pregnant, with her due date expected in early 2025.

However, Bündchen reportedly plans to wait until the birth to learn the baby’s sex. She is also preparing for a home birth, with a source telling the outlet that she’s “excited” for the experience.

Bündchen and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend, Valente, were recently spotted together, marking their first public appearance since news of their pregnancy broke.

While the couple are embracing this exciting new phase, a source shared that they aren’t planning to marry “anytime soon” and will simply “live together for now.”

“There is a huge difference between them net-worth wise,” the source noted. “There is no point in tempting fate as far as Giselle is concerned.”

Bündchen first met Valente in December 2021. The two began making headlines after they were spotted together on multiple occasions in late 2022, though she initially denied any romantic involvement.

By February, sources told Page Six the couple started dating in June 2023 and shared that they were “deeply in love.”

Bündchen’s pregnancy was revealed approximately two years after her split from NFL star Tom Brady, whom she was married to for 13 years, sharing two children: 14-year-old Benjamin and 11-year-old Vivian.

According to a report, Bündchen broke the news of her third pregnancy to Brady and their kids before it was made public.

An insider also told Page Six that the news came as a shock to Brady.

“It just wasn’t something that was on his radar,” the source said. “So when Gisele broke the news to him, he was stunned, to say the least.”

However, Brady is reportedly single and remains “super focused on his kids and work.”

According to Page Six, Bündchen and Brady were open to the idea of expanding their family by having another child.

Despite their readiness to add one more, it was not something they focused on while they were still married.

“Gisele and Tom were open to having another child during their marriage,” a close source told the outlet about the couple. “But it wasn’t something they were actively trying to do.”

The duo eventually went their separate ways in October 2022, ending their 13 years of marriage after months of speculations that they were having marital issues.
