One year ago, Michael Bibi was enduring a rigorous treatment regimen for CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer. With clear scan results and unbridled optimism, the DJ has now announced his long-awaited return to Miami for Art Basel 2024.
The event will mark the first-ever Link Miami Rebels Block Party, transforming the street beside Miami’s iconic courthouse into a euphoric haven for tech house groovers.
Bibi last played in Miami in March 2023, when he performed during a Club Space label takeover during Miami Music Week following his Ultra Music Festival performance alongside Maceo Plex.

The news of Bibi’s hotly anticipated return to Miami follows the emotional news of his one-year cancer scan, which came back clean.
“This week will mark my one year anniversary from receiving my new cells during a full stem cell transplant & finalising my cancer treatment,” Bibi said in a celebratory Instagram post. “For context the first year is the most dangerous part of the journey now moving forward things can start to relax. I feel so grateful & happy rn, thank you everyone that has been patient & supported me up to this point, life is slowly returning & this news means I am officially ready to start travelling outside of Europe again.”
