Here’s a trailer for an upcoming indie horror film titled The Fetch, and it looks like it’s going to be a well-made and pretty scary movie!
In the film, “Following the death of his only son, a grieving father is haunted by a demon known in Irish folklore as the Fetch.
“In Irish folklore & literature dating back to the 1500s, writers from the island nation have written about mythical beings known as ‘Fetches’ that haunt people whose days are numbered.
“According to legend, Fetches take on the physical form of the humans they visit — and if your own creepy doppelganger visits you in the evening, it means your death is imminent.
“But if they visit you in the morning, you can prepare yourself for a long life ahead of you.”
The movie is being directed by J.C. Doler, who is making his feature directorial debut. it stars Robert Longstreet, Aleksa Palladino, Logan Donovan, Shannon Cochran, and Tripp Toupal.
The Fetch is set to premiere at the 2024 Austin Film Festival in Texas this month.
