Brittany Mahomes Reveals Her Workout Struggles While Pregnant
On Friday, November 8, Brittany took to her Instagram Stories to share footage of her latest workout session. As she moved through various exercises, she paused to highlight one particular move that had become increasingly difficult: step-ups.
“Step ups — the one workout that kills me the more pregnant I get,” she wrote, adding laughing emojis. “Sumo anything, sign me up.”

The couple, who met in high school and have since become a power duo, got engaged in 2020 and welcomed their first child, daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, in 2021. Just a year later, they married and added son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III to their family. Now, they’re preparing to welcome their newest addition.

Brittany Mahomes Opens Up About Her Fitness Journey
In the past, she has spoken about her journey to becoming a personal trainer and emphasized the importance of fitness in her life.
“When I was playing professional soccer over in Iceland, I didn’t have a ton to do outside of soccer, so I found myself spending a ton of time in the gym working out, creating workouts, and posting them online,” she told Sports Illustrated. “I realized that I was enjoying that so much more than actually playing soccer.”

“Staying active and being in the gym has been a huge part of my life,” she told Eating Well.
After concluding her professional soccer career, Brittany discovered that her passion for fitness and training was a natural path forward. She transitioned into a successful career as a fitness trainer, where her expertise and dedication have allowed her to make a meaningful impact in the fitness world.
“Being in the gym was something that I remained super passionate about,” she said. “I enjoy strength training and lifting weights mostly, but also walks with the kids and the dogs.”

Brittany Mahomes Has Continued Her Gym Workout Even While Pregnant
In August, Brittany gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her pregnancy workout routine by sharing two workout videos on her Stories.
In the first clip, the expectant mom took on several ball slams, dressed in a vibrant orange sports bra and red Vitality leggings paired with white sneakers. With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, her baby bump was visible as she powered through each rep.
In the second video, Brittany, a former soccer player, showcased her baby bump again in the same workout gear. This time, she performed slow, controlled squats, positioning her heels on a flat circular weight for added support.
Brittany Mahomes Opens Up About Motherhood
The 28-year-old fitness trainer has openly expressed her joy in motherhood, sharing how much she cherishes time with her children and watching them grow. In an interview with SheKnows, Brittany revealed, “Oh my goodness, I love being a mom. I think I’ve been called to be a mom ever since I was little.”
“Just seeing my kids grow up, and the things that they’re learning, and the things that they’re taking from their dad … when we have first experiences with them, taking them somewhere, seeing them happy and lit up and in good spirits when we do stuff, is probably the biggest thing that I enjoy,” she continued.

Patrick also opened up about parenthood, telling his fans, “I always wanted to have kids young. I got to grow up in a locker room, I’ve talked about it before. I’m done, I’ll say that. I said three, and I’m done.”
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes currently share two children, daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick Lavon Mahomes III, affectionately nicknamed “Bronze.”
