Jesse Stone, a 14-year-old Florida teen, has reportedly been charged with sexually assaulting a 91-year-old woman.

More Details On The Charges Against Jesse Stone
According to WESH, Stone was placed behind bars at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in June. Since then, he has reportedly been charged as an adult with sexual battery and burglary.
Furthermore, PEOPLE reports that Stone pled guilty to the charges on November 7. Lastly, the outlet asserts the 14-year-old will be sentenced on December 19.
Here’s What The 14-Year-Old Florida Teen Allegedly Did To The 91-Year-Old Woman
Per a June 18 report from WESH, Stone allegedly entered the woman’s home through an unlocked door on June 9, 2024. The woman was then awoken by “a person sneaking through her home” and confronted by Stone “punching and groping her,” per a shared by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
“This type of unimaginable violence is still shocking to me after all of my years in law enforcement,” Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods explained at the time.
Per the outlet, Stone talked to the woman often and was even at her home earlier on the day of the attack. Furthermore, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office asserted that Stone admitted to attacking the woman. Per PEOPLE, the 14-year-old told authorities he watched explicit content on the woman’s iPad before assaulting her.
“Through the collection of DNA evidence, forensic investigators were able to positively identify the suspect. During an interview with Detective Caitlin Hartigan, Jesse Stone admitted to unlawfully entering the victim’s home, striking the victim, and then sexually battering her,” the release reads in part.

The guilty plea of the 14-year-old isn’t the only incident that has made news reports in the Sunshine State in recent weeks. As The Shade Room previously reported, Esther Thelus has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
On August 26, Thelus reportedly set herself, her two-year-old son, and her infant son on fire. The matter reportedly stemmed from a custody issue involving the father of her elder son.
