The actress mentioned that she has taken a break for a couple of years, and this delay was not related to her filming schedule for “Dune: Part II” or “Challengers,” both of which were filmed in 2022. According to TOO FAB, Zendaya stated that she is eager to return to her role as Rue. However, she is currently set to film another project called “The Drama” alongside Robert Pattinson. “I’m actually going to start filming a project soon before Euphoria, and I’m like, ‘Man, I’m rusty…Can I even do this anymore?’” she shared.
Zendaya has not commented on the rumored tensions on set between her and show creator Sam Levinson, but she confirmed that production for Season 3 will begin in January 2025. “I haven’t read anything yet, but I’m excited to see what everyone has been working on,” she explained.

After there was speculation that Euphoria was going to be canceled, HBO confirmed the show’s return. Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer were slated to be back on the series.
