On November 6, former President Donald Trump was officially named the winner of the 2024 presidential election, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris. A great deal of Americans were left distraught, saddened, and disappointed over Trump’s election win.
Several celebrities and everyday people have already begun looking up other options for the next four years, like where else in the world they can live to escape what’s about to come down the pipeline once Trump is inaugurated in early 2025.

For people looking for said options, a luxury cruise line is now offering a 4-year world voyage to escape the upcoming Donald Trump presidency. The cruise line is named Villa Vie Residences and they are the line behind the 3.5-year cruise that set sail earlier this year for remote workers.
The company has now announced that they are extending their voyage length and offering a 4-year-long “Skip Forward” cruise, which will dock at 425 ports across 140 countries. Now, when it comes to pricing for this grand life at sea opportunity, the luxury cruise line has a starting price of $40,000 per year for the 4-year world voyage to escape the upcoming Donald Trump presidency.

However, if the 4-year world voyage to escape Donald Trump’s presidency is just a little too far out of budget, the luxury cruise line offers additional packages. Voyagers can opt for a 1-year “Escape from Reality” journey, a 2-year “Mid-Term Selection” journey, or a 3-year “Everywhere but Home” voyage.
Furthermore, pricing for the single-occupancy cabins for the full 4-year journey starts at $256,000 and a double-occupancy cabin will cost $320,000 for the trip.

Additionally, the trips are all-inclusive, meaning all food and drinks (alcohol only included at dinner) are a part of the full price, in addition to WiFi access and medical appointments. Also provided in the cost are housekeeping (which is done weekly) and laundry services (done bi-weekly).
In a statement, Anne Alms, head of sales for Villa Vie Residences, said, “Villa Vie offers a unique one-of-a-kind way to see the whole world at a slow pace where you have enough time to actually experience the cultural vibe of every port. Your villa is your bedroom, and the ship is your home, she’ll take you across the globe to endless horizons.”
