Emily Simpson‘s former nanny has come forward in defense of Katie Ginella and her daughter, Kaili, backing her babysitting story up with her own.
After Emily, 48, accused Kaili of telling her sons that Heather Dubrow, 55, was “mean” on the finale episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and suggested she was a liar when she said it was the boys who brought Heather up to her, an unnamed ex-nanny of Emily’s has stated that Emily is “totally lying.”
“[I’ve] always been team Emily. But I feel so bad for [Kaili]. Disappointed on how Emily handled it! Her kiddos have full access to the internet so I’m sure they’ve found stuff on there. [Emily’s daughter] Annabelle would always look up her mom on the internet and I’d have to tell her to stay away from that,” the ex-nanny wrote in a DM to AllAboutTRH. “I thought it was always cute that they knew what was going on. They’re very protective over their momma! Like what [Kaili] said, I also thought it was funny and no big deal!”
Along with the person’s DMs, they attached a message they sent to Katie, 40.
“Hi Katie! First off, you are an amazing addition to the franchise! We need more women like you! Also, if you want to share this with your daughter. So she knows she’s not crazy. But I used to nanny Emily Simpson’s kids and they always talked about how they hated Heather!!!” the ex-nanny revealed. “Annabelle would give me all the juicy gossip!”
“I feel a bit disgusted that Emily was pointing the finger at your daughter when she was kind enough to watch the boys! (They ain’t easy). But I just wanted to let you know that Emily is totally lying,” they continued. “The kids do know Heather. They know what’s going on! I don’t like your daughter taking the blame for that on TV. Especially from Heather.”
As fans may have seen, Kaili spoke out on the AllAboutTRH podcast after her name was mentioned on the show, claiming that after the incident in question, Emily and her husband, Shane Simpson, welcomed her back into their home to babysit for their kids for a second time.
“I know Emily said (her sons) came back and told her I was talking bad about Heather and then her and Shane said, she can never babysit for us again. So why did they have me back watching their kids two nights later?” she asked.
But after the interview, Emily denied any such thing on her Instagram Story.
“Just to clarify: after she babysat the kids for a weekend, Shane said: ‘this involves kids don’t bring it up and we won’t use her again.’ We never used her again after that,” she wrote in a post.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 reunion concludes with part three next Thursday, November 21, at 9/8c on Bravo.
