Podcaster Dana Wilkey leaked Whitney Rose’s alleged DMs while calling her a lying “fan,” as YouTuber Adam Newell’s husband Jason reacted – days after Dana suggested she was going to “destroy” the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Whitney doubled down on her suggestion that Lisa Barlow was involved in leaking a rumor to Dana about Whitney’s jewelry line buying from Alibaba. Though Dana repeatedly denied it, Whitney claimed Adam confirmed it on camera before changing his tune. She also shared that she’s friends with Adam’s husband Jason, with whom she has a “history” with.
Dana once starred on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In one of her most famous scenes, she bragged about her $25,000 sunglasses. After leaving the show, Dana turned to podcasting.
On a November 9 Instagram post, Dana leaked an alleged message exchange with Whitney – suggesting that Whitney was her “fan.”
“Omg … you better still have those sunnies,” Whitney allegedly wrote to Dana, referring to her infamous sunglasses.
At one point, Dana cryptically wrote: “I’m an ex you.”
Whitney responded, “What do you mean when you say [that]?”
“I was on housewives and know how hard it is,” Dana answered.
Whitney reacted, “Oh I know, I watched you!”
In the caption of the post, Dana called Whitney a “fan” who’s been “lying.”
In a comment, Adam’s husband Jason threw some shade.
“You must mean ‘my friend’ with so much ‘history’?” he wrote, mocking Whitney’s WWHL claims.
After the WWHL interview, Jason addressed her comments on Instagram.
“By our ‘history,’ are you referring to when I helped with your skincare brand that changed names three times – or when you used to work with my cousins at Target?” said Jason at the time, before referring to allegations that Whitney’s company uses multilevel marketing. “I ran multiple businesses… none of which are MLMs. So maybe don’t sell yourself out with your MLM schemes. The one thing I learned from church was forgiveness, so you’re forgiven. Do better!”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
