Drake is stepping into fall with a fresh new look, and fans are relieved—especially after his questionable braided pigtailettes that he accessorized with bobos and barrettes. On Nov. 16, the Certified Lover Boy artist shared his latest haircut on Instagram: a sleek taper fade, with the front left wavy for added style.

The 38-year-old rapper’s new ‘do has fans feeling nostalgic, as it closely resembles the hairstyle he sported when he first burst onto the scene with the release of his debut album Thank Me Later and again during his fifth studio album, Scorpion.
“That means good music is on the way once again,” wrote one user.
Another person on X penned;
“We’re about to get PEAK Drake again.”
One fan called the Toronto-bred rap star a “baddie” while others claimed that the Canadian artist’s haircut was long overdue.
“Drake cut his hair off?! Omg we are SO BACK! Them braids been too tight for too damn long!” a user penned.
Another person joked;
“Damn, Drake took his weave out.”
Celebrity hairstylist Aly Bona, who has been responsible for Drake’s braided look over the last year, also reacted to the buzz, telling fans;

In October, the father of one sent the internet into a frenzy when he posted a photo on Instagram rocking two long pigtails, each adorned with blue bubble barrettes.
The rapper didn’t offer much commentary on the bold look, but that didn’t stop social media users from sharing their thoughts.
The reaction was swift, with many netizens slamming the rap star with a barrage of jokes and comments about the unusual style.
