Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter Can Now Visit Her Kids Making Bail

Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, gets permission to see her child but with ‘all strings attached.’

The comedian’s daughter was cleared to see her children following her child neglect arrest, but that will be done under supervised visitations.

Chelsea O’Donnell was held in custody after law enforcement officers discovered her 11-month-old child near methamphetamine during a home search when she invited the police to the residence.

Chelsea will reportedly have at least one period of two hours of weekly supervised visitation with her children, but with Jacob Bourassa’s mother, Vicki Bourassa, present during each visit. However, the court document stated:

“The parties may agree to additional placement and may agree to someone other than Vicki Bourassa acting as the supervisor.”

The latest judgment comes after Jacob demanded the court modify the existing custody order to grant him full custody of their three children, as earlier awarded to him in 2019.

In Touchconfirmed that Chelsea and Jacob are parents to three of her four children, including daughters Skylar Rose, Riley, and Avery Lynn.

In the motion, Jacob claimed, “Since the entry of the last order affecting legal custody and physical placement in this matter, there has been a substantial change in circumstances concerning the parties’ minor children.”

He continued that due to the recent development in Chelsea’s life, granting him physical custody is crucial to guarantee the physical and emotional well-being of the kids.

“It is no longer in the best interests of the parties’ minor children that [Chelsea] have unsupervised placement,” Jacob’s attorney continued. Jacob asked the court to amend the pronouncement of the initial order regarding:

“Periods of physical placement to provide that [Jacob] shall have primary physical placement subject to periods of secondary physical placement in favor of [Chelsea,] upon such terms as the court deems appropriate, including at minimum supervised periods of physical placement.”

In addition to her supervised children visitation, The Blast shared that Chelsea was also ordered to ditch alcohol and illegal substances altogether.

The court also declared that the “Defendant shall not possess/consume any illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia/controlled substances without a valid prescription.”

The star’s daughter was mandated to report to the Sheriff’s Department for fingerprinting and photographs as part of her release requirements.

Chelsea was let go on a $4,000 bond during a court sitting in Wisconsin last Tuesday, with a new hearing scheduled for December 12, where she will face ongoing legal proceedings connected to her case.

Chelsea’s tumultuous legal journey began when she invited officers into her home via a 911 call amid a heated argument with her partner in September. On getting to the scene, police found Chelsea with dilated pupils, a meth pipe, and other drug paraphernalia.

Upon deeper search into her residence, the feds discovered a black vial containing methamphetamine, Alprazolam pills, and marijuana-related items.

The mother was then arrested and charged with four serious felonies: maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of THC.

Her troubles worsened when the police found her infant in a room with a “meth pipe, a gem bag with methamphetamine inside, a marijuana grinder, and another container with marijuana shake in it.”

Chelsea’s troubles escalated during a second arrest in October, a few weeks after her initial release on bond. The Hollywood legend’s daughter got locked up after police stopped her car for a routine search and discovered drugs in her compartment.

During questioning, Chelsea reportedly attempted to discard evidence by tossing her meth pipe into a nearby river, but the pipe struck a fence and bounced back.

The police then found methamphetamine, oxycodone, morphine sulfate, and hydrocodone during her medical clearance for custody. 

Following her arrest, Chelsea bagged three more felony charges, including possession of meth, possession of narcotics, and bail jumping, alongside additional misdemeanor counts.
