Scheana Shay revealed she was with Brittany Cartwright when Jax Taylor allegedly sent “rage texts” from his mental health treatment facility. The Vanderpump Rules star also shared where she stands with Lala Kent’s ex Randall Emmett.
Lala and Randall share a daughter who’s friends with Scheana’s daughter. Both girls apparently attend the same school, so Scheana and Randall are in the same orbit at certain events. Scheana’s friend Lala, however, has repeatedly shared her negative feelings about Randall.
Meanwhile, Brittany and Jax are getting a divorce, and Brittany recently stated that he sent rage texts while getting treatment at the facility.
“I was there when a lot of these rage texts were happening,” said Scheana on her Scheananigans podcast, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “We were at Jax’s bar one night and he’s calling her. It’s like 10 p.m. She was hosting a viewing Bachelorette party or whatever.”
“And he’s calling her and calling her. Rage texts [and more] rage texts from the facility. He had his phone the whole time,” she added. “I’m like what kind of facility is this that you’re allowed to have your phone? He’s on social media. He’s literally rage-texting her daily. It’s like, he has not changed.”
Scheana said she “doubt[s]” that Jax was committed to healing.
“I hope — for [their kid’s] sake and for it being easier for Brittany co-parenting — that he has changed, but Brittany said it herself on the podcast, that he has not changed,” said Scheana. “And I don’t think he really ever will because if he was going to, that was his chance.”
Later on, Scheana was asked if she speaks to Randall when she runs into him.
“Here’s the thing: it depends,” she said. “I go based off Lala. If Lala and him are being cordial and the girls are playing and we happen to be at a school event, I will have a surface-level conversation with him because I want her world to be as peaceful as possible. I don’t need him being like, ‘All your friends are rude to me when I’m at the school.’”
But Scheana said she’ll “gladly” ignore him or “give him a death stare” if that’s what Lala wants.
“When you know how much of a piece of s**t someone is, it’s easy to give a death stare,” she said. “It’s also harder to be mean. It genuinely takes energy … to be a b**ch. I’m naturally a nice person.”
