According to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards had her sights set on a romantic liaison with Kevin Costner.
During the Tuesday, November 19, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Stracke, 53, claimed that Richards, 55, put her best foot forward during a trip to Aspen, Colorado, where Richards owns a vacation home.
In a conversation with Gercelle Beauvais and Jennifer Tilly about the true nature of Richards’ relationship with Morgan Wade, Stracke detailed her surprise claim.
“Kyle and I have this conversation, she was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there. And she was, like, trying to hook up with Kevin Costner,” Stracke said during the conversation, to which Beauvais, 57, directed at Stracke, “Well, you want Kevin Costner.”
Seemingly the object of several RHOBH star’s affections, Stracke admitted to Beauvais, “I know,” before expanding on her claim regarding Richards.
“This is what I’m saying, I don’t think that Morgan’s the end all, be all because she [Richards] really wants … it’s not all about Morgan, there’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there,” Stracke said.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Richards for comment.
The claim sparked Tilly, 66, to announce that being single provides “a neverending smorgasbord,” before Stracke proclaimed that, “It’s a neverending story, that’s for sure.”
The dates of Stracke’s claim are unclear, however Costner, 69, has close ties to Aspen after purchasing a 160-acre ranch there in 2000, according to Business Insider, which he reportedly rents out. The actor also spent the holiday season in Aspen last year, photographed walking through the streets in a black cowboy hat on December 29, 2023.
The Yellowstone actor was also seen vacationing in Aspen with his children in July 2023 amid his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, per Page Six. (Baumgartner, 50, filed to divorce Costner in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The couple share three children together — Cayden, Hayes and Grace — while Costner also shares Annie, Lily and Joe with former wife Cindy Silva, and a son, Liam, with Bridget Rooney.)

On Richards’ relationship with Wade, Beauvais said during Tuesday’s After Show that she was unsure of how Wade’s relationship with Richards evolved after she split from her husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. (Beauvais did, however, clarify during Tuesday’s episode that Richards was “not with” Wade.)
“I do think that Morgan came in at a time where Kyle needed a safe place, a friendship,” Beauvais said in the episode’s After Show. “I don’t know if Kyle was thinking that Morgan was going to be the kind of friend that you’re attracted to but I think it happens.”
