Dorit Kemsley reacted to Mauricio Umansky rumors and Kyle Richards‘ text to Paul “PK” Kemsley on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
While also offering an update on her separation from PK, 57, accusing Kyle, 55, of “gaslighting,” and reacting to Garcelle Beauvais, 57, shading her and PK’s split announcement, the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed if she’s open to reconciling with Lisa Vanderpump, 64, gushed over newbie Bozoma Saint John, 47, and more.
“At first, [I was] obviously [surprised]. It’s just, the thing is it is so ridiculous, it defies belief,” Dorit admitted of the rumors linking her to Mauricio, 54, on the November 19 episode of WWHL.
Following her split from PK earlier this year, Dorit said she was surprised to hear that Kyle reached out to her estranged spouse before contacting her.
“I was surprised in the moment that she had text [PK] before she ever text me, and then [Erika Jayne] had to encourage her to text me,” she noted.
As for Kyle admitting that speculation about her and Morgan Wade, 29, made her question her sexuality, Dorit expressed pride in her former bestie.
“I feel proud and happy for Kyle whenever she is able to feel comfortable to be open and share how she feels. So more power to her,” she reasoned.
During Tuesday’s premiere of RHOBH, Dorit was seen smoking in her car as she discussed her breakup with Erika, 53. And while paparazzi pics previously confirmed Dorit as a smoker, the scene was the first time she was featured smoking on the show.
“I was actually being chased by paparazzi so I was like, ‘Oh my god, oh my god,’” she recalled.
Offering an update on her and PK, Dorit said “things are good” between them.
“We are friendly, and we’re communicating, and things are status quo,” she explained.
As for plans for divorce, Dorit said she had none, adding that legally ending her marriage is not “even a topic of conversation.” Instead, she and PK are continuing to live separately as PK enjoys outings with Mauricio.
“[They’re] living their best lives. Mo and PK actually see each other a lot during the week,” she shared, confirming she knew about their recent boys’ weekend in Miami, during which they were seen with the Summer House cast, including Kyle Cooke, 42, and Carl Radke, 39.
“There was about nine of them there, and PK and Mo, they have a lot of fun,” she continued.
Amid her ongoing issues with Kyle, Dorit said that their season 14 drama was “a long time coming.” She then reacted to Kyle telling Erika she was a bad friend for naming her last and Kathy Hilton, 65, first at BravoCon after being asked to rank the Richards sisters.
“The gaslighting is hysterical,” Dorit fumed.
Dorit was also not thrilled with Garcelle saying that her and PK’s separation post was long-winded.
“I’m always waiting for the next sh*tty thing that Garcelle’s gonna say about me,” she confessed.
Although Dorit found herself in plenty of drama amid season 14, she quickly connected with Bozoma.
“Immediately. Within 10 seconds. She’s incredible,” Dorit gushed.
Dorit then offered an update on her kids, Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8.
“The kids are great. They don’t know that we are separated, even though he’s not living in the house,” she explained. “He has an apartment. They stay with him on the weekend. But they think he’s working, he’s staying in town because he’s got a lot of work there.”
“As long as PK and I are friendly and things are pretty normal for them, they’re okay,” she added.
Also in the episode, Dorit was asked if she was lying at the season 13 reunion when she alleged that she and PK were “better than ever.”
“We were better than ever. Absolutely,” she insisted. “People think I must have not been telling the truth. He had just gotten sober. He was four months sober. And when that happened, things were fantastic. They really were. That doesn’t mean that all of our issues that were buried, that are buried, won’t resurface. Because that’s exactly what happened … but it wasn’t some big catastrophic event that was the reason why we separated.”
According to Dorit, she and PK separated after noticing there were issues “under the surface” of their marriage.
“We mutually agreed, ‘Let’s take some time apart. Instead of getting into the gutter and things getting toxic, let’s just take time apart and work through our issues and see where we belong, where we end up,’” she revealed.
While appearing on the WWHL: After Show after the episode, Dorit was asked if she would reconcile with Lisa now that she and Kyle are on the outs, and she was also questioned about whether she’d heard from her former castmate since she and PK split.
“There’s always room for any kind of reconciliation for me in my life, Lisa being probably the exception to the rule,” Dorit replied. “She’s not reached out nor do I expect her to. She still kind of enjoys having a little bit of a dig whenever she can, and I’m so over Lisa Vanderpump.”
Dorit also confirmed that Lisa was not in touch with PK.
