Dynamite Entertainment has announced an exciting new comic book series with Gargoyles: Demona, which will feature a new storyline exploring the history of the infamous villain.
The series comes from the original creative team behind the Gargoyles animated series with creator Greg Wiesman and artist Frank Paur.
This comic is a limited series that will launch on Free Comic Book Day, and then there will be new issues released every month after. This is going to be a really cool comic series!
The description for the comic reads: “For a thousand years, while the heroic Gargoyles slept, their nemesis Demona has been wide awake, scheming and plotting her revenge against humanity for destroying her kind.
“Although Goliath and his clan of Gargoyles will do everything they can to protect their adopted New York City, they are not prepared for the lengths to which Demona will go in order to enact her twisted plan for justice.
“Nor are they prepared for how large a part they themselves will play in carrying it out. The tale begins on Free Comic Book Day before continuing in a new monthly miniseries.”
Gargoyles: Demona #0 will launch on Free Comic Book Day 2025, which will be held on May 3, 2025. You can see some cover art below that was created by Meghan Hetrick.
