Surging bass music producer YDG has released “Echo,” a grimy showcase of his production skills.
Using no shortage of bass to scratch every itch in our brains, the track alternates between haunting vocals and grating saws, both of which fittingly echo through the arrangement to breathe life into its title.
With a knack for producing popular remixes like that of John Summit and Sub Focus’ “Go Back” and its murph’s “Down Low,” YDG has been on a roll releasing original music. Earlier this month, he dropped “Lose Control” a track that found him flexing his versatility in both dubstep and drum & bass.
Out now under Rezz’s HypnoVizion Records banner,”Echo” follows YDG’s landmark performance at EDC Orlando. The second phase of his “You + Me” tour recently kicked off and will continue into 2025.
