A #RHOP newbie and her fiancé are setting the record straight on their relationship amid the resurfacing of matching 2023 Christmas pajama photos of the NFL player and his babies’ mother.

Jassi Rideaux and Darius Harris were recently interviewed by super producer Carlos King about their coupledom after the mother of Darius’ sons said Jassi lied about their dating story.
As previously reported, Charlysa Porter, who shares two kids aged 1 and 3 with Darius, said it was offensive to hear Jassi only refer to her as “she” and “her” instead of by name on an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
She also alleged that Jassi told the story of her relationship beginnings with Darius incorrectly after Jassi explained that when she and the NFL player got serious, the children were “there or created before her.”
She also said that Darius “did not know” that the baby’s mother was pregnant when they started dating and found out when the baby’s mom was “two or three months” along.
Now, Jassi’s breaking things down, and Darius is even weighing in.
Jassi Rideaux Talks Meeting Darius Harris
While a guest on the “Reality With The King” podcast, Jassi revealed that she first met Darius in Los Angeles in late 2022 while waiting for an Uber outside a club.

Things took a serious turn in January 2023 when Darius flew Jassi out to Kansas City to watch one of his games and meet his family.
“Ladies, take notes get your pens and papers out,” said Jassi to Carlos King and podcast viewers. “There was no intimacy, but he laid out the red carpet. By March, he took me to Paris for two weeks — first class on Air France. “He really wooed me in a way no man ever had before,” said Jassi.
However, cracks started to show in May 2023 when Harris was released from the Chiefs.
According to Jassi, the NFL star began pulling back, citing struggles with his career transition, so she stepped back to give him to heal.
“I was like, ‘You know I’m gonna gracefully bow out of this one.’”
The NFL player’s career wasn’t the only thing on his mind. According to Jassi, Darius failed to mention that he was worried about feeding his sons (plural) after he was released from the team nd only mentioned one child.
“I asked the right questions, and I was told that there were no other kids involved,” said Jassi. “So at the time, I’m thinking, ‘Okay, this man is just really upset about his career,’ and I get it, he was telling me he was thinking about how I’m going to take care of my son and myself, instead of saying my sons, plural, at the time.”
The couple officially broke things off in early 2023, but by January 2024, Darius was back in Jassi’s life after he showed up in Maryland and apologized for his inconsistencies.While Jassi initially rejected his attempts to reconcile, Darius eventually won her back with a promise to do better.
Jassi Rideaux Detailed Finding Out That Darius’ Baby Mama Was Pregnant
According to Jassi, she was upset that she was completely in the dark about Darius expecting a second child because Darius lied by omission.

She eventually let it go, however, because the child was conceived when they weren’t together.
“I just found out two days prior to that at the Super Bowl is when I found out that, not only did he have a second son but that it was by her this entire time I didn’t think she was even a factor in his life,” said Jassi on Reality With The King. “I thought that they were genuinely having a co-parenting situation.”
“One thing that made me kind of relax in the situation was when he told me the timeline he’s like well she had the baby in March I’m doing the timeline, I’m like we got together in January then that means that before we were even together or intimate she was already pregnant so I was upset about the lie but I was never upset about the child because I’m like, ‘Okay it is what it is,” said Jassi.”
“Like you have another child that was here before me’ and quite frankly anything that he did while we weren’t together is really none of my business.”
Jassi stressed, however, that she was “extremely hurt” when Darius finally came clean about the news.
“It was a very hurtful lie,” said Jassi. “When I found that out I was so taken aback about anything that he had ever told me, because I’m like, ‘Wait a second!’ If anything I was thinking that it was another child from another woman. So again, seeing as though I had no idea of the situation and no one that was in his life,you know he talked to me as if there was not really anything to worryabout in regards to that side of it. I was extremely hurt, I was extremely shocked.”

Jassi Rideaux Says Darius Harris’ Matching Christmas Pajama Photos Were For Co-Parenting Purposes, Darius Agrees

On Reality With The King, Jassi shared that the December 2023 Christmas photos of Darius Harris and his ex matching in PJs were taken, essentially, to keep the peace. She also explained that an Instagaram spam page targeted her online before the matching Christmas PJ photos resurfaced.
“He explained to me later that he did it to maintain a peaceful co-parenting relationship,” said Jassi noting that Darius said he wanted to be sure he “could see his sons.”
Darius Harris also spoke with Carlos King during the interview and explained wearing matching Christmas pajamas with his children’s mother.
I understand what it may look like from the outside looking in, but the fact that is I know what I was doing,” said Darius. “I mean yes, I did take a picture and everything but just to be with my boys, but I know the magnitude of the situation and I know that we were not together New Year’s Eve. “
“I see what makes it look like that, but no, we wasn’t together, or anything like that,” he added.
Darius Harris Denies Sleeping With His Children’s Mother After Taking Christmas Photos
At one point in the interview, Darius Harris denied that he was intimate during December and January with his baby’s mother.
“No [we weren’t intimate], because she went to her house and I went to my house, meaning we had at our own places,” said Daruus. “We was not together again, just because you know of pictures and everything which I get, but just because you see one thing that doesn’t tell the truth of what is actually going on in real life.”
The Dallas Cowboys Player also assured Carlos King that Jassi can trust him.
“You know she understands that there’s nothing [else] out there, that was the biggest ball to drop. She knows I have two boys, and that was the biggest thing, so there’s nothing to hide.”
