The GRAMMY Award-winning gospel singer shares how it was love of her husband, her family, and her Lord and Savior who gave her strength through troubled times in her highly anticipated new album, LIVE BREATHE FIGHT.
“‘Live’ is living like heaven is my destiny. ‘Breathe’ every breath with purpose, and we’re fighting until we get the victory.” Mann tells Elev8 about the inspiration for the album’s title and composition. “I put my whole being into this album, meaning I worked on every single area of this project. I’m so glad that the Lord gave me the strength mentally and physically to work through the things I was going through.”

LIVE BREATHE FIGHT is Mann’s sixth studio album and most her personal album to date, inspired by a season of trials and tribulations within her own family that led her to lean on the Lord for guidance and strength. She sings about waiting on the promises of God in her latest single, the country music inspired “Working For Me,” which earned Mann a record-breaking eleventh no. 1 single on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart.
“God is my go to, whenever everything else seems like it’s failing, I can go to God,” Mann says. “It helped me to know even though I’m hurting, I still want to love you, Lord, forever.”

“Working For Me” along with Mann’s second single, “Hand On Me,” will be among the tracks on LIVE BREATHE FIGHT which features collaborations with Kirk Franklin, Wyclef Jean, and more.
