St. Denis Medical returns with an all-new episode this week featuring NBC’s Superstore alum Nico Santos starring as Rene, the “Regina George” of St. Denis’ Emergency Department. This episode feels like a Superstore reunion – fans won’t want to miss this one!

Alex is determined to switch things up but when she provokes the “mean girls”, she very quickly learns why things have remained the way they are for quite some time. Rene, is the head of the “Filipino mafia”, a clique within the department consisting of Filipino nurses who choose only to work with each other. Tensions arise after Alex tries to split up the group both she and Rene struggle to understand the other’s perspective. Bruce, contrary to his nature, attempts to express humility and step out of the spotlight when Joyce is on the hunt for a new ‘Featured Employee. Fun pair Ron and Serena also find themselves in a bit of a feud over parking space etiquette.

St. Denis Medical is the perfect medical sitcom, making great use of an exceptionally comedic cast and lighthearted setups. Four episodes in and these characters have truly made their mark. Could we see more actors from previous NBC sitcoms appear? You’ll have to tune in weekly to see!
