Shannon Sharpe Responds to Social Media Critique Over Dog

Shannon Sharpe wants everyone to know that he can do whatever he wants at his home because that’s his business.

The NFL veteran and podcast host took to social media to share his Thanksgiving prayer on Thursday, Nov. 28. Much to the chagrin of many users, Uncle Shay Shay had his dog at the dinner table during the blessing. Many people jumped into his comments to put him on blast for the presence of a canine among the food.

Needless to say, big Unc was not swayed by the negativity about his pups. Instead, he took the time to jump in his own comments and let people know that it’s his house, his rules.

“What makes you think I’m going allow you 2 tell me what I should do at my house?” he responded to one user.

More social media users chimed in with their two cents and Sharpe was ready with a comeback for them as well.

“What do you think your chances are of you having a meal at my hm? 1 and how many octillion,” he said to another.

He also made sure to let everyone know that his dogs not only eat at his table but also sleep in the bed. Unc definitely is doing life on his own terms.

X users spent most of the day pointing out that Sharpe spends a lot of time expressing his feelings about proper etiquette but then chooses to let dogs eat at his table. It’s unclear why anyone thought Shay Shay was going care about their opinions of him and what he does in his home. However, people still couldn’t help themselves.

In the meantime, Uncle Shannon and his partner-in-petty Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson stirred up drama on their podcast Nightcap with a discussion that seemed to hit a little close to home. The conversation revolved around giving a hall pass to cheat to romantic partners. Johnson noticeably looked uncomfortable as social media has speculated that his engagement to Sharelle Rosado ended due to infidelity.
