This week’s retro trailer is for the 1985 sci-fi adventure film My Science Project. The story follows high school senior Michael Harlan, a gearhead with little interest in academics, who must complete a science project to graduate.

Desperate, he scavenges a military junkyard and discovers a mysterious, glowing device from a UFO. What he doesn’t know is that the artifact is a powerful energy source capable of bending time and space.

When the device is activated, it begins to wreak havoc, opening dimensional rifts that unleash prehistoric creatures, futuristic weaponry, and bizarre anomalies in the high school.

As chaos ensues, Michael, his nerdy best friend Vince, and classmate Ellie team up to stop the mayhem. They must navigate a series of wild, time-bending challenges while battling strange foes, including a time-displaced T-Rex and hostile soldiers from different eras.

The group faces off against the device’s dangerous energy to save their school and prevent catastrophe. The film is packed to the brim with 1980s charm.
