Amanda Batula gave fans an idea of when Summer House season nine would premiere on her Instagram Story during a recent “Ask Me a Question” session with her fans and followers.
As she also offered an update on her impending move out of New York City with her husband Kyle Cooke, 42, and shared what she takes to manage her depression, the 33-year-old addressed season nine, her swimwear line, her previously blonde hair, and the potential new season of Winter House.
“Can [you] give a hint of when Summer House will [premiere]?” a fan asked on October 23
“We are left completely in the dark on this. We have no idea,” Amanda began. “We don’t get told until an hour before the trailer drops. But historically, the show has aired in January or February so I would assume early next year is when it will air.”
As for her and Kyle’s move to the suburbs, Amanda confirmed, “We’re still in the city.”
“We’re not moving to the suburbs yet, but when we do, it will be New Jersey. And yeah, I’m sure you guys will be fully aware when we move,” she explained.
When another person wanted to know what she takes for her depression, Amanda started off by noting that “everyone is different.”
“I started off taking Wellbutrin, which did wonders for my depression. But then I started feeling anxious like, all the time. It was almost, it was like, debilitating. Like, I couldn’t do anything. So my doctor switched me to Prozac for my depression, and then I’m on Clonazepam and Klonopin; I think they’re like one of the same for anxiety, which I’ll take occasionally,” she shared. “I’m on the lowest dosage of Prozac, which seems to be working for me.”
“But talk to your doctor. Everyone’s gonna be different. You gotta give it time and switch it up if it’s not working for you and find the medication that does,” she added.
Regarding the upcoming drop of her swimwear line, Amanda said, “[First] drop will be in February! [Second] and [third] will be in the spring.”
Another fan asked Amanda if she’d ever dye her hair blonde, prompting her to share a throwback photo of herself rocking the lighter hue.
Also, during the Q&A, someone wanted to know if there would be another season of Winter House.
“Winter House got put on pause this year. There was an article about it. So it’s not canceled, it’s just been put on pause,” Amanda explained. “We did not film it this past year so there won’t be anything airing this fall. But like, God damn, I needed that break. I couldn’t do it anymore.”
Summer House season nine wrapped production in September.
