Back in 2021, BOSSIP reported on the numerous wrongful murder convictions that have been happening in Kansas City, Kansas, particularly cases involving former police officer Roger Golubski, who was accused of sexually assaulting and intimidating Black women who live in the poverty-stricken neighborhoods of the city. The corruption was so rampant that Jay-Z’s Team Roc organization donated over $1 million to The Innocence Project to help those who had been sentenced to prison at the hands of liars, charlatans, and shady city officials.
The 71-year-old Golubski was well on his way to facing justice; however, today, it was announced that justice would not be served. AP News is reporting that today, the day that jury selection for trial was set to begin, Golubski was found dead on his back porch due to a gunshot wound. His body was discovered by police, who were called to the scene after a neighbor reported hearing gunfire. The Kansas City Bureau of Investigation says “there are no indications of foul play” but did not specify a suicide.
Golubski was accused of decades of sexual abuse and six felony counts for civil rights violations of women. Prosecutors say that in one instance, Golubski drove a woman to a cemetery and told her to dig her gravesite. He had allegedly been sexually assaulting this woman since she was in middle school and once induced a miscarriage because of his abuse. Sadly, this wasn’t even the worst of his misdeeds…
Once, prosecutors say, he forced her to crawl on the ground with a dog leash around her neck in a remote spot near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers. With no one around, he is accused of chanting, “Down by the river, said a hank a pank; Where they won’t find her until she stank.”
We can only hope that this piece of s**t pig is resting uncomfortably in Hell.
