Kathy Hilton isn’t concerned about the future of her sister Kyle Richards’ friendship with Dorit Kemsley, despite the drama playing out on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“They will always come back together, I’m sure of it,” Kathy Hilton, 65, shared in a recent interview with Us Weekly. “I try to stay out of other people’s issues as much as I can — unless something truly outrageous happens, then I might step in a bit.”
Kathy recently hosted her annual holiday bash, where she welcomed both Kyle, 55, and Dorit, 48, despite the ongoing tension between the two. The pair caught attention when they were seen arriving at the party together, seemingly in good spirits.
“They walked in together. I’m not sure if they arrived together or just happened to walk in at the same time, but they looked fine.”
She continued, “When you’re at a party, you’re not going to make anyone feel uncomfortable. They wouldn’t do that.”
Though Kathy has remained largely outside the drama on RHOBH, where she appears in a “friend of” role this season, she made it clear that she’s not involved in the current rift between Dorit and her sister Kyle.
“I’m not around them every time they’re filming,” Kathy explained.
Kathy Hilton did, however, offer Dorit some advice during the season 14 premiere, following news of her separation from husband PK Kemsley. The couple announced their split in May after nearly a decade of marriage.
“I didn’t know the full backstory,” Kathy admitted. “I just wanted Dorit to take some time to really think things through before making any big decisions. Maybe stepping back and seeing if you miss each other would help.”
