Cardi B Reveals Massive Amount of Money She Spends a Month

Cardi B continues to make money moves, despite what the haters may say.

In recent weeks, some people have suggested that the “Up” hitmaker, 32, may be struggling financially, given that she’s partnering with brands like Shein, instead of luxury fashion house. On Wednesday, December 3, Cardi took to X Spaces, sharing an audio recording in which she clears the air about her finances.

“People say that I’m surviving off Shein deals and brand deals,” she said. “I want to let y’all know I could wake up tomorrow, sign a contract, and have half of $65 million, or half of $70 million, in my bank.”

She also notes that her finances are so secure that she is comfortable spending “about $3 million in a month.”

Cardi released her debut album Invasion of Privacy back in 2018. The album spawned two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits — “Bodak Yellow” and the J. Balvin and Bad Bunny-assisted “I Like It.” The album also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2019 ceremony.

But since then, fans have been anxiously waiting for a follow-up to Invasion of Privacy. Cardi has been teasing that the album is arriving soon, and is waiting to drop it before accepting any big tour deals.

Elsewhere in the Spaces conversation, Cardi revealed that she recently turned down a tour deal this past September, in which, evidently, she was offered $65 million. She said she rejected the offer because she believes offers will increase upon the release of her hotly anticipated sophomore album.

“I don’t want to take tour deals until I announce my album because when I announce my album I know they’re going to up it,” Cardi explained. “You have to move smart. You can’t act hungry when you’re not.”
