Amber Heard may be an A-list actress, but she’s had the biggest role of her life at home: being a mom to her daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard. In July 2021, the actress took to Instagram to announce that she welcomed her baby girl earlier that year. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,” she wrote. Amber went on to say that venturing into parenthood on her own terms gave her a new appreciation of “how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.” She added, “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

How Many Kids Does Amber Heard Have?
So far, Amber has one child — her daughter. However, PEOPLE reported in December 2024 that the Aquaman actress was expecting her second child.
“It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage,” a rep for Amber told the outlet. “Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
It’s unclear if Amber will welcome her future baby with a partner. She has kept a low-key dating life in recent years. In 2010, Amber revealed she was bisexual while she was in a relationship with female photographer Tasya van Ree. “I don’t label myself one way or another,” Amber said in an interview with Metro in 2011. “I have had successful relationships with men and now a woman. I love who I love, it’s the person that matters.” Amber then went on to date her Rum Diaries co-star Johnny Depp, marrying him in 2015 and splitting a year later. After divorcing Johnny, Amber dated billionaire Elon Musk, and then filmmaker Bianca Butti.
Amber does not appear to be romantically linked to anyone at the moment.
Oonagh Paige Heard
Since the birth of little Oonagh, Amber can’t help but gush over her baby girl in rare Instagram posts. In October 2022, she shared an adorable snap of the mother/daughter duo to commemorate Oonagh’s six-month birthday. “The six best months of my life, the first six months of hers,” Amber wrote in the caption.
Amber, however, prefers to maintain a sense of privacy for her daughter. Therefore, she rarely posts photos of Oonagh these days.
