One of the moments from Melissa Gorga’s latest rant centers around the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami. This came after the ladies had some not-so-flattering things to say about the Jersey girls and Melissa Gorga buying social media followers. And while Melissa takes issue with the Miami cast trash-talking them, claiming they should be able to defend themselves, she conveniently forgets that she, too, is guilty of talking smack about her fellow Housewives—her casemates included.
Melissa’s entire argument is that if someone is going to talk trash, they should at least have the decency to say it to her face. Fair enough, right? After all, who doesn’t love a little drama that goes down face-to-face? But here’s where it gets deliciously hypocritical: Melissa doesn’t hesitate to tear into her own castmates (yes, we’re talking about your fellow Housewives, Melissa), making snide remarks about their style and their overall “hot mess” status. And yet, she expects the Miami ladies to be respectful enough to do the same.
In reality TV, hypocrisy is par for the course, but it’s always fun to see it laid bare like this. It’s a classic case of “Do as I say, not as I do.”

No. But for real, like, we’ll take us while we’re down and we’re not even there. Yeah. And, like, let us be there to defend ourselves at least. You know what I’m saying? You could say a lot about the Jerskos. You might some of us might dress s**tty. I’ll give you that. Some of us. Not all of us. Some of us are hot f**king messes.
But guess what, girls? We got the best f**king ratings across the board. We do. Say what you want about the Jersey girls. Don’t you know what I mean? Up until now. Say what you want. But you know what? We I believe in 2024, we are and and I’m not exactly sure, but I know we were definitely one of the highest rated premiers. Yeah. And we we were on a Sunday in the dead of f**king summer. Exactly. Onslaught.
And our and I’m talking about, like, live ratings, like, one day live ratings. We are at live ratings. Yeah. We were at 8 something. Beverly Hills just came very close at 7 something, but, you know, we were still at 8. Yeah. This is live that’s live ratings, which you know, listen, was lower than we normally are, but I was looking at Well, everyone’s down. Everyone’s lower. Dead of summer on a Sunday.
On a Sunday. Sunday night in the summer. Yep. And we had an 8 in the number. It was 800,000 something. I don’t even know, which is pretty damn good. So hate on us all you want. Hate on us all you want. Everything bad about us, we still he reigns supreme. Yes. Exactly.”
