Ally Lewber has broken her silence on the shocking arrest of her boyfriend James Kennedy on the suspicion of domestic violence.
Following the release of the arrest report which stated a woman, simply identified as James’ girlfriend, alleged to cops that the Vanderpump Rules alum “lifted her up” and “threw her to the ground” on the night of December 10, Ally took to her Instagram Stories to issue a statement.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me. I’m okay and taking the time I need right now,” wrote Ally on December 14. “I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
Following James’ arrest on Tuesday, he was released after posting $20,000 bail.
Meanwhile, James’ DJ career appears to be in jeopardy as the 32-yr-old reality star seems to have been removed from the LIV Nightclub’s website’s calendar. James previously had three shows scheduled in January at the venue in the Fontainebleau hotel.
This news comes following the cancellation of a DJ gig that James had coming up at the Komodo Lounge Dallas in January in Dallas, Texas. A fan shared a message showing that the event, slated for January 17, had been cancelled.
Podcast host Nick Viall is also speaking out after being in attendance at Kathy Hilton’s holiday party, alongside James. The former Bachelor star is claiming James was “barking orders” at his “best friend” during the event as he called it “insane” and said he was the “only one who saw it.”
“We saw James and Ally there,” said Nick of Kathy’s holiday party, on his Viall Files podcast via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “[I] said hi. Love James, love Ally. We took a picture … I said to him last night, ‘Out of all [the costars besides] Ariana, he ended on the highest of notes. He peaked at the right time.’”
“I hope James is okay with me saying this — James brought a friend [to the party],” said Nick, who forgot the friend’s name so he referred to him as Sam. “[My wife] Natalie and I were talking to some people like 15 minutes later. I’m the only one who saw this. Natalie didn’t even see this. Natalie was immersed in a conversation with the other person [we were] talking to.”
“And then James walks by. James turns around and he says to his friend … ‘Sam! Hold this, now!’” Nick recalled. “And his friend just grabbed the drink and James kept walking. And I was like, that was insane.”
According to Nick, who is pictured with James and Ally below at the party, James had introduced the man as his “best friend.”
“And then 10 minutes later, he was barking orders,” said Nick. “It was awesome … I was the only one who saw it.”
James released a statement through his attorney earlier last week, stating — “We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James. We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”
