Kim Zolciak Slams Kroy Biermann As ‘Controlling’

Kim Zolciak is opening up about how difficult it has been to live with her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, in recent years.

It is no secret that the former couple haven’t been on the same page in years. However, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum claims their situation is worse than what people saw on the surface.

Since their tumultuous separation, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann lived in their shared Georgia mansion until recently. They have had multiple visits from the cops, including two recent encounters with authorities while moving out of their longtime home.

The former Bravolebrity did not mince her words about her estranged husband when a reporter caught up with her at LAX on Monday, December 16. When asked about the cops’ latest visit to their Georgia mansion, Zolciak blamed Biermann for the incident.

She stressed that he had a history of being the problem in their relationship, describing their last few years together as “torture.” Zolciak claimed Biermann was too controlling, implying that this behavior drove them apart and ultimately ended their marriage.

Zolciak noted that she had more tea to spill about the former American football linebacker, revealing that their relationship was far worse than she had shared. However, she refused to air their dirty laundry for their children’s sake, per TMZ.

Zolciak and Biermann’s latest run-in with authorities occurred in their Georgia home over the weekend. The Blast reported that the estranged couple were moving the last of their belongings out of the mansion when a fight broke out over the items.

Biermann parked his car in front of Zolciak’s moving truck, blocking it from leaving the premises because he believed she had taken items that did not belong to her. Fortunately, the incident did not escalate as officers convinced the former athlete to cooperate.

The incident marked the second time authorities were called to the duo’s home amid their relocation plans. During the first incident, Zolciak requested cops’ help while moving her belongings because of Biermann’s tantrums. He only wanted her to move female-related items, leading to a verbal altercation.

Zolciak and Biermann’s moving-out drama also included theft claims. The former Bravolebrity accused her estranged husband of taking her iPad and four security cameras, while the latter claimed she stole his laptop and miscellaneous documents.

Months before this incident, Zolciak and Biermann got into a heated argument that sent one of their children crying to the cops. The concerned child reported the duo to authorities, resulting in three officers and a supervisor rushing to their Georgia mansion to restore the peace.

Besides the estranged couple’s frequent bickering, their alleged lack of responsibility as pet owners left their neighbors in a dire position. A displeased resident called the cops on them over their dogs after one of them nearly attacked her child after roaming around without a leash or supervision.

Last month, The Blast revealed that Biermann had joined the corporate world amid his divorce and financial problems. He reportedly works as their Crane and Rigging Coordinator for Superior Rigging & Erecting Co.

Biermann’s job included coordinating logistics, “working hard at enhancing workflow efficiency,” and “reducing operational bottlenecks.” The company he works for is famous for building the State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. 

The former athlete’s ties to Superior Rigging & Erecting Co. came during a challenging phase of his life. As of October, he was thousands of dollars in debt, including $79,000 owed to his lawyer. Biermann’s legal rep revealed that his last invoice was for a $18,100 bill for bankruptcy options.

According to the attorney, Biermann was charged $18,100 for his services in helping the former footballer find a way to escape his financial burdens. He explained that he spent hours researching bankruptcy options at the former footballer’s request.

The research began in late August and continued to September, with the legal rep consulting Biermann over the phone for hours. That wasn’t all; the lawyer also billed him for watching Zolciak’s MTV reality TV series “Surreal Life,” which aired earlier this year.

While Zolciak’s chemistry with Tom Hanks’ son Chet Hanks might have caught the public’s attention, Biermann wasn’t concerned. Instead, he asked his attorney to watch the show and find out if his estranged wife had mentioned their divorce or disparaged him.
