At 54 years young, Long is the personification of the phrase “aging like fine wine.” Her longtime friend and fellow co-star Larenz Tate is 49 and also repping “Black don’t crack” gang. HelloBeautiful recently caught up with Nia Long and Larenz Tate. The beloved duo reunite in the nostalgic Walmart commercial that pays homage to the magic of Love Jones with a holiday twist. During the chat, they revealed their beauty routines. “For Nia Long, it’s hereditary. Her mama look good – her whole family.” Tate joked. He may be onto something. “They got that melanin poppin’” he continued.
For Larenz, “Lifestyle is really important for me. Trying to eat right, live right, and running the marathon not the sprint.”
The Secret To Nia Long Skin
Larenz isn’t lying when he praises Nia Long’s beauty. She is the epitome of fine. She is glowing on the other end of our Zoom chat. “Hydration for me is super important,” she explained, breaking down her beauty regimen. “Lots of vitamin C.
While we wish the sold whatever Nia Long has in a bottle, the true hero of her beauty routine is self-care. “I got to bed super early,” which Larenz also attests to with laughter. ” I rest. I workout. I play tennis. I do a lot of stretching. I get massages. At a certain point in your life, when you see that your children are self-sufficient you turn that energy back on yourself.” And if that all goes over your head, she finished with a simple, “It’s putting yourself first – it’s very important.”
