#Socialites, get a load of this! Popular podcaster Bobbi Althoff, 27, has seemingly announced her first public relationship since divorcing her husband, Cory Althoff, 34, and she’s sparking some romance rumors with NFL player Sean Murphy-Bunting, 27, causing him to react!

As we previously shared, in February 2024, Bobbi Althoff’s husband Cory Althoff filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court after 4 years of marriage. In court documents obtained, TMZ reported that Cory cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and listed July 4, 2023, as the date of separation, three years and five months after they tied the knot on Jan. 31, 2020.
Cory, a software company executive, also requested joint physical and legal custody of their two daughters, 1-year-old Isla Althoff and 3-year-old Luca Althoff. He also requested to block the court from awarding any spousal support to either party.
Bobbi then confirmed the reports about her divorcing her husband. On her Instagram, she shared a black and white photograph of them and expressed her sorrow for the dissolution of her marriage in the caption. She wrote, “As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce. As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife.”

She also said their daughters are “so lucky to have” Cory as their father and she is “so lucky to be able to co-parent with such an incredible father and person.” She added, “While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him.”
In 2023, Bobbi rose to fame with her The Really Good Podcast, which features interviews with celebrities that have gone viral thanks to Bobbi’s deadpan humor and uncomfortable questions. Some of her guests have included Drake, Lil Yachty, Offset, Shaquille O’Neal, and many more.
Drake’s interview with Bobbi Althoff went super viral, causing the other mentioned celebrities to sit down with her. However, Bobbi’s interviews would soon cause speculation of her sleeping with her guests and even rumors that Drake was responsible for her divorce, claims sources close to everyone had to shut down.

Sources told TMZ that the main catalyst for Bobbi Althoff’s divorce was due to her fast rise to fame and being more in the spotlight, something her husband wasn’t quite comfortable with.
Since the news of Bobbi Althoff’s husband divorcing her, she is now seemingly announcing her first public relationship and sparking rumors with NFL player Sean Murphy-Bunting. On Monday (December 16), Bobbi Althoff seemingly “soft-launched” her new relationship with a video of her kissing and holding hands with a mystery man. Social media immediately began investigating and speculating about who he could be.
It was soon heavily rumored that Bobbi Althoff’s first public relationship since her divorce was with NFL player Sean Murphy-Bunting, who started his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019 and won a Super Bowl in his second season before moving on to the Arizona Cardinals, where he plays cornerback.

While social media continued to react to Bobbi’s kissing video and speculate that she was with Sean Murphy-Bunting, he ended up addressing the romance rumors on X (formerly Twitter). On Tuesday evening (December 17), the NFL player responded to a post from Dov Kleiman and simply said, “That’s not me.” However, social users immediately responded to his tweet with reactions of non-belief.
Whether or not Sean Murphy-Bunting is just trolling social media or really is dating Bobbi Althoff, the two do know each other and are friends. In July 2024, the two made headlines when TMZ reported that the NFL player was spotted carrying the podcaster out of Nashville bar.
Bobbi responded the next day with a photo of her and Sean and said, “Last night was scary but thankful for having good friends in my life like @seanmurphybunting for looking out for me.” The two were also in TikTok videos before their night on the town.
