Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 4 has aired, and viewers are wondering whether Neel is dead or alive at the end of it. The series revolves around a group of children lost in the vastness of the galaxy where the Star Wars franchise predominantly takes place, hoping to find their way to their home planet of At Attin. What they or other residents of their world initially didn’t know is that At Attin used to be one of the nine legendary Jewels of the Old Republic. In Episode 4, Neel and his friends land on another planet and find themselves caught in an ongoing war.

Is Neel dead or alive in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 4?

Neel is alive at the end of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 4. As one of his friends notes right before the credits start rolling, he simply fainted.

The children find themselves on At Achrann and get separated from Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law) and SM-33 (Nick Frost). After being found by members of one of the native tribes, the Troik, they discover that these people are at war with another tribe, the Hattan. Neel befriends a human girl named Hayna, the daughter of the Troik leader. The children learn that, unlike their orderly planet, there is constant conflict on this one.

Soon, Neel, Fern, and the others are recruited for the war and taken to the frontline. However, instead of fighting the Hattan, they reunite with Jod and SM-33. The former gets the children freed by giving back to the Troik the livestock that the Hattan took from them. Toward the end of the episode, Hayna points the heroes toward the Fallen Sanctum, where they find the map of all the nine jewels. However, they discover that the coordinates to At Attin have been destroyed, and SM-33 was responsible for it.

Fren comes up with the clever plan of overriding the droid’s memory, prompting it to recall that the previous captain slaughtered all his crew members who saw the coordinates to At Attin. Driven by the previous command of destroying anyone who came looking for the treasure of At Attin, the droid tries to attack the children. Fortunately, Jod switches him off in time, but not before Neel shows incredible bravery and draws the murderous droid toward himself. Afterward, he faints.

Now, how the story will unfold further remains to be seen.
