The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards doesn’t disagree that her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, might be going through a midlife crisis.
Kyle’s friend and former Housewife-turned-guest star Camille Grammer made a quip about Mauricio having a midlife crisis during the Tuesday, December 17, episode of RHOBH as they discussed Kyle’s separation from her husband.
Well, it seems Kyle, 55, is thinking the same thing.
“Probably there is some truth to that,” Kyle told costar Erika Jayne on Tuesday’s RHOBH After Show. “I mean, I would say this to his face, which I actually have … Kind of watching how he’s been navigating through this situation there’s been times I’ve thought, ‘This is giving major midlife crisis vibes.’”

One such example of Mauricio, 54, experiencing a midlife crisis, according to Kyle? “All the way down to a car he bought for our house in Aspen which I call a ‘midlife crisis mobile,’” she said.
“It’s just a big monster truck … the outside is rough [and] sandpapery, and it’s got these big wheels,” the Halloween Kills star explained. “It’s like a monster coming through town. Everyone stares and you’re like, ‘Oh, God.’”

Kyle and Mauricio’s separation after 27 years of marriage has been a big focal point on RHOBH season 14. Viewers have seen Kyle navigate living alone after Mauricio moved out into his own “bachelor pad,” as she put it on Tuesday’s episode of the Bravo reality show.
On the Tuesday, December 3, episode of RHOBH, Kyle met up with Mauricio at their former Beverly Hills home to discuss their future. Kyle explained in a confessional that her estranged husband had signed a six-month lease on a condo following their July 2023 separation.
“I have yet to go to his place,” Kyle shared on the December 3 RHOBH After Show. “He’s invited me a number of times, actually. It just hasn’t worked out yet — I’ve been out of town, I had plans, and then the Jewish holidays just passed and I was like, ‘I have more space here.’ So I’ve been still hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family.”
Kyle also reiterated her thoughts during a confessional that Mauricio buying furniture for his new place made the move feel more “permanent.”
“He said, ‘I need to do this. I’m gonna move out for six months and we’ll figure it out,’” Kyle told Erika on the After Show. “So I [thought it] was a take it from there type of thing. And then all of a sudden, he’s buying stuff. I’m like, you’re buying another bed, another desk — this doesn’t feel like you went into that thinking that thinking this is [permanent].”
