Bruce Springsteen has long teased the unheard riches in his studio vault, some of which will apparently see the light of day next year. Tucked into the very end of a year-end recap press release from the Boss’ longtime reps Shore Fire Media is the revelation that “upcoming releases in 2025 will include a look back at Springsteen’s storied recording career, featuring never-before-heard material,” but no further details were spilled.
Springsteen, 75, began giving specific albums the dedicated rarities-packed boxed set treatment in 2010 with The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story. That was followed in 2015 by The Ties That Bind: The River Collection. The press release notes that the artist’s iconic Born to Run will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2025, alongside other milestones for The River, The Ghost of Tom Joad and Devils & Dust.

Beyond a 16-show European tour next summer with the E Street Band, Springsteen will “continue his involvement” in the biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, in which he will be portrayed by The Bear star Jeremy Allen White. The movie chronicles the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska and is currently in production on the Jersey Shore.
In October, Disney+ and Hulu released Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, a behind-the-scenes film chronicling the group’s past two years on tour.
