Ariana Madix is discussing the possibility of expanding the sandwich shop she shares with Katie Maloney, Something About Her.
Over six months after opening their restaurant, the 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum admitted that she would love to expand it as she shared how involved she is in running it, addressed a potential return to reality television, and offered some advice to the season 12 cast of Pump Rules.
“Not at the moment, but that would be great. Would love that,” Ariana confirmed to PEOPLE on December 5.
According to Ariana, even though she’s busy, she does her best to stay involved in the operations at Something About Her.
“A lot of the stuff is via the phone,” she shared. “Either texts, emails, dealing with that side of the business. And then whenever I’m in town I go in as much as possible to say hi to everyone.”
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Ariana and Katie, 37, were faced with a number of red tape issues before ultimately opening the doors to their sandwich shop in May.
“We both believed that it would always happen, that we were going to make it happen. But there were definitely some moments of deep breathing at times when something else would pop up, and you just have to take a second,” Ariana admitted.
Then, moving on to the recent news regarding the recasting of Pump Rules, Ariana said, “I’m glad that people and the public now know what’s going on.”
During another interview, Ariana continued to discuss the news.
“I had been in conversations for quite some time, you know, behind the scenes about what that would potentially be,” Ariana told The Post on December 3. “I’m just, I’m happy that it’s out there. So, yeah, I feel good.”
As for whether she would consider returning to reality television with a stint on The Bachelorette, Ariana, who has been dating Daniel Wai since April 2023, made it clear she was not open to starring on the show.
“Oh, no, absolutely not,” she stated. “I’ll host it.”
“It’s not about me,” she added.
Ariana was then asked what advice she had for the Pump Rules newbies.
“I would say this sounds cliché, but be yourself. I don’t think it would work to try to be anybody else,” she shared. “And not only that, if you’re comparing yourself to past cast, and I know people say big shoes to fill, and yes, that’s true; but at the same time, if you’re trying to fill those shoes by being someone else, it’s never gonna work.”
“So, just be yourself,” she added.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 is set to begin filming in 2025.
