After a slew of hits and high-profile collaborations, it should come as no surprise that Subtronics stuck the landing as Beatport’s top-selling dubstep artist of 2024.
It was a banner year for the influential DJ and producer, who dropped colossal tracks like “Black Ice” (with Rezz), “Hallelujah” (with Wooli) and “No One Does It Like” (with Alison Wonderland).
He also notably teamed up with John Summit and Tape B for a blistering rework of Sage the Gemini’s “Gas Pedal,” which became an immediate fan-favorite and was ultimately crowned as Beatport’s top-selling dubstep track of 2024.
Amidst the massive success of his singles, Subtronics released his sophomore album, TESSERACT, from which an eponymous tour was born. Its conclusion, however, did not stop his touring rampage this year, as he went on to perform at multiple EDC festivals, Ultra Japan, Lost Lands and the third iteration of his own Cyclops Cove event, among others.
