Elon Musk faced backlash on X(formerly Twitter) from MAGA supporters after he addressed the U.S. engineers shortage and explained why he hires foreign tech workers for his companies.
“This is not about handing out opportunities from some magical hat. You don’t get it. This is blindingly obvious when looking at NBA teams, as the physical differences are so obvious to see. However, the MENTAL differences between humans are FAR bigger than the physical differences!!” he continued. However, his posts did not sit well with MAGA supporters as they share similar views with President-elect Donald Trump regarding immigration policies in the US, according to Salon.

Trump’s incoming policy advisor on artificial intelligence, Siriam Krishnan, has previously advocated for removing green card limitations to outsource talent from other countries.
Trump previously commented on Musk’s citizenship status, stating that he could never become president because he was not born in the United States. This statement was made on his Truth Social platform in response to discussions about the tech billionaire’s remarks regarding the use of emergency spending during a government shutdown.
“No, he’s not going to be president, that I can tell you,And I’m safe. You know why he can’t be? He wasn’t born in this country.”
