There has been much talk about The Real Housewives of Atlanta in recent months. Much of this has to do with Kenya Moore leaving midway through filming the upcoming season. Now, she’s talking to Kandi Burruss about the season and where she stands with Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora. Plus, they both react to rumors of an RHOA spinoff.
As many fans know, a report recently came out saying that a spinoff of RHOA was in the works. Called Ex-Wives Club, the rumored show would include several cast members who have moved on to other things. This included the likes of Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak, Kenya, and Kandi, among others.
Recently, Kandi hosted an Amazon Live session with Kenya as a guest. The first thing that came up was season 16 of RHOA. Luckily, The RHOA Talk was able to capture the session.

Kenya said, “Yeah, I’m on season 16. Until I’m not.” Kandi then read a comment from a fan saying Kenya needs to come back for season 17.
Both ladies clarified that it’s far too early to even talk about season 17, as production doesn’t consider the cast until the latest season is almost done airing.
The topic of Drew and Porsha also came up, and Kenya explained, “I have a good relationship with both of them. I’m like their, well with Drew, I’m kind of like a big sis advisor. With Porsha, I’m like kind of big sis, kind of like…”
Kandi then joked that they’re frenemies, but Kenya continued, “No, we haven’t gotten into the enemy part. We started off good and it’s good now. Ask me in six months after I see the confessionals and stuff.”
They then both discussed how they sometimes think they’re on good terms with their cast members, but then they see them throw shade in the confessionals. This is the case on most reality shows.
Kandi also discussed her relationship with Drew and Porsha by saying, “As for me, I am good with both of them.”
Nene came up, and a fan asked whether they still talked to her. Kandi said, “I talked to Nene recently. Can you believe it?”
According to Kenya, “I can believe it. I talk to her on and off. I’ve seen her out. We’ll give each other hugs, we’ll talk tea. Obviously, she’s full of opinions. I wish her all the best.”
She continued, “I think that sometimes you hit patches, and your life can derail, but I think everybody deserves a second chance.”
Kandi then said, “Oh, for sure. I feel like, let’s just go ahead and give her her flowers. She looks amazing. She’s been looking great online.”
In the video, fans can see Kenya give a bit of a shady look when Kandi mentions Nene’s looks. According to Kenya, “I think Nene looks great. I just need Nene to back off of the filters and stuff. You know what I mean?”
After a bit of joking, Kenya added, “We’ve all done too much editing to our photos, and we all do filters and things like that from time to time. She definitely has amazing skin. The wigs are together now. Her wardrobe just looks so good on her body. She doesn’t need the filters. She doesn’t need the heavy editing. I’ve seen her in person. She doesn’t need it.”
Kenya finished, “I love me some Nene. I think she needs a second chance at a new career.”
This is when the spinoff came up because Kandi said she’d been in touch with Nene regarding a project. Kenya thought Kandi was talking about the Ex-Wives Club show. However, Kandi said she wasn’t, and they both said they wouldn’t do the show.
According to Kandi, “Whatever that rumor is that somebody saying there is a show… nobody told me about that, I’ve not spoken to nobody about doing that, I would not even do that, so let’s stop.”
