A source shared a custody update with Kathryn Dennis, 33, concerning the kids she shares with her ex, Thomas Ravenel, 62, following her loss of custody after testing positive for marijuana.
The Southern Charm star, who shares an 11-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son with Thomas, was fired from the show after season 8. In the past, Kathryn allegedly struggled to attend the supervised visits, which were offered every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
But now, according to a source speaking to The U.S. Sun, Kathryn regularly sees the kids and is improving with her parenting.
“She sees them fairly regularly of late, although not as much as she’s allowed pursuant to the court order,” alleged the source. “Receiving more custody depends on her. She’s still oftentimes late, but if she gets it together Thomas would love nothing more … The kids are doing great.”
In October 2023, a source claimed, “[Kathryn] hasn’t paid for the supervisor. The last time she had a supervisor and picked [the kids] up was in April.”
“She FaceTimes twice a week for about 15 minutes. She wanted to do it every day, but the kids are busy with school, homework, and extracurricular activities,” the source added.
In June, the star apparently stopped posting on Instagram. She also disabled her account on OnlyFans, which allegedly was her sole source of income following her exit from Southern Charm.
Last month, Kathryn revealed what advice she would give her younger self.
“I would go back to season one and tell that girl to not move to the Hamptons with that older man and just stay where she was, figure out what she loves, what she wants, [and] not take on what seems stable in someone else as my own sense of security,” said Kathryn on OFF-SEASON with Olivia Flowers. “I think that’s what I did with him. I was this little country girl from Moncks Corner so I was around all these Charleston people and they always seemed like uppity to me so to be accepted somewhat in that moment, I felt like ‘Wow, I can believe he likes me, who am I?’ And I just kind of had blinders on.”
“I was just having fun and then all a sudden I’m with an old man,” the star added.
