Sydney Sweeney Told Sheer Braless Dress Doesn’t Fit Her

Sydney Sweeney didn’t receive the best feedback for her September Golden Globes appearance this year. Rocking up to the high-profile event in Toronto, Canada, this fall, the 26-year-old showed off her signature curves in a sheer dress, going eye-popping with a barely-there and totally see-through chest panel.

Flashing her cleavage as she posed with Blonde actress Ana de Armas, Sydney stunned in a lacy black dress that many fans felt didn’t suit her figure. In fact, some comments centered around this, as fans said that Sweeney should have picked a different look.

Going braless beneath her dress, “The White Lotus” star hinted at her abs, showing off her assets while wearing ruched, mid-length sleeves. Switching velvets out for gauze at the chest, Sydney kept feminine with embellished detailing, adding floral accents from lace stitching that fed into her high, sheer collar.

Concealing her toned legs as she wore barely visible heels, Sydney kept glam, coordinating her statement outfit with a glam hairdo and makeup. Sporting her hair down and in soft waves, Sydney displayed her plump pout via a matte, lined lip, completing her cosmetics with a heavy layer of matte foundation plus blush.

Meanwhile, ring jewelry added more flourishes as Sweeney posed solo and with Cuban-born actress Ana.

The Daily Mail’s photos didn’t take long to attract comments. Over 200 fans agreed with the most-liked reply, one reading: “She has a fantastic figure but she seriously needs to sack her stylist. You can look classy, sexy and flash some serious cleavage without the need for frumpy or tarty dresses. She recently seems to struggle to get it right.” Another fan, meanwhile, said: “She’s too petite to wear a dress like that. The dress is wearing her.”

Sydney Sweeney received a better response to this GLAAD Awards look in March.

Slipping her curves into a slinky, silvery gown custom-made by Miu Miu, the blonde showed off her eye-popping cleavage via a crystal-embellished neckline, which went low-cut as she rocked her figure-hugging dress.

Sydney chose the Miu Miu designer she is signed to, although she also fronts brands such as Armani Beauty and Samsung.

Sydney has been shamed for showing off her curves, but she’s also clapped back.

Speaking to Glamourlast year, the A-lister revealed: “Well, especially when it comes to red-carpet pics and they’re like, ‘Sydney Sweeney displays bust,’ or ‘Sydney Sweeney wears a scandalous dress,’ I’m like, ‘I’m wearing the exact same dress someone else would be wearing! I just have t-ts.”
