Jennifer Lopez’s Ex Casper Smart’s House Raided By Cops

Casper Smart, the ex-boyfriend of pop icon Jennifer Lopez, had an unexpected encounter with law enforcement just two days before Christmas.

Smart, who dated Lopez on and off for five years starting in 2011, found himself the subject of a police raid at his Los Angeles home. The couple, who began their relationship after Lopez divorced Marc Anthony, had a turbulent romance, with Lopez once crediting Smart for helping her heal following her divorce.

However, the relationship ended for good in 2016, with reports suggesting that Casper Smart’s infidelity was the cause of his split from Jennifer Lopez.

On December 23, just before 9 a.m., law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Smart’s L.A. property.

According to sources who spoke to TMZ, the tip that led to the search claimed Smart was running a cannabis grow operation at his home. At the time of the raid, Smart was at the house with a woman. During the search, authorities reportedly discovered a small- to medium-sized grow operation on the premises.

Instead of arresting Smart, officers cited and released him at the scene. The case has now been handed over to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will decide whether to pursue charges against Smart.
