Don Lemon has made headlines after unleashing a profanity-laced tirade against supporters of the MAGA movement, labeling them “dumb f-cking idiots.”
The contentious comments come amid a public feud between several high-profile MAGA figures and X CEO Elon Musk over H1-B visa issues.
Don Lemon and Elon Musk have also not been on good terms since the journalist accused the tech billionaire of refusing to pay him $1.5 million after a content deal between them imploded.

Don Lemon Slams MAGA Fans Amid Their Visa Feud With Elon Musk
Lemon is laughing hysterically at MAGA supporters as he claims Elon Musk has blindsided them over H1-B visa issues.
The issue stemmed from a recent media uproar about the H1-B visas for specialty workers after prominent MAGA followers like Laura Loomer decried the December 22 announcement of venture capitalist Sriram Krishnan to serve as senior policy adviser for artificial intelligence (AI) in the next Trump administration.
“Oh my gosh, I love this. Now you’re finding out, you dumb f-cking idiots. Now you’re just figuring this sh-t out. You’re so f-cking stupid, and you deserve it. And you f-cking deserve it because you’re so dumb,” Lemon jeered, per the New York Post.

“You have been co-opted because you’re in a f-cking cult, and you don’t even realize it because you have stupid MAGA brain, and you don’t get it. How stupid and dumb are you?” he added.

Elon Musk And Vivek Ramaswamy Fiercely Defended The H-1B Visa
Ideally, the H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa in the United States. It allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations if they cannot find American talent for that role.
During the conversation, Musk and fellow Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) co-chair Vivek Ramaswamy rallied in defense of H1-B visas.
The two billionaires went back and forth with various MAGA accounts on X over the matter, trying to emphasize why it’s essential for the growth of America.
Musk and Ramaswamy later admitted that the program needed a drastic overhaul during the upheaval.
However, Lemon couldn’t get enough laughs and chided the MAGA supporters further.

“You know what they’re saying about the anti-immigrant jobs, right,” Lemon said. “Who’s it to say that one of those jobs you might be seeking might be one of those white jobs.”
With that statement, he was seemingly referencing President-elect Donald Trump’s remarks about immigrants taking away “black jobs” while speaking at a combative National Association of Black Journalists panel in July.

Donald Trump Supports H1-B Visa Program
During his rant on his show, Lemon made remarks about how Musk and Ramaswamy were bound to offend MAGA supporters in one way or another.
“I love this story,” Lemon said as he fielded audience questions, adding that the “tea is hot.”
“They’re getting too big for their britches,” he stated about Musk and Ramaswamy. “And soon enough, they were going to say or do something that would incur MAGA’s wrath.”
Following the MAGA meltdown over Musk and Ramaswamy’s stance, Trump spoke out, showing his support for the visa program.
“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” the President-elect said.
Don Lemon And Elon Musk’s Fallout
Lemon and Musk’s relationship soured earlier this year after a content deal that would have seen him launch his show on X fell through.
At the time, the former CNN news hosted the tech billionaire for the debut episode of his independent web-based show.
Musk seemed uncomfortable with some of the questions in the “tense” interview and subsequently canceled the proposed deal.
“Elon publicly encouraged me to join X with a new show, saying I would have his ‘full support,'” Lemon said in a statement, adding that he took Musk at his word that he was “interested in working directly with diverse voices.”
In the interview, he asked the Tesla boss if he believed he and his X company had a responsibility to moderate hateful content, especially with the rise of hate speech on the platform.

“I don’t have to answer questions from reporters, Don,” Musk replied. “The only reason I’m doing this interview is because you’re on the X platform, and you asked for it. Otherwise, I would not do this interview.”
Don Lemon Took Legal Actions Against The Billionaire
Lemon swiftly filed a lawsuit against Musk and X, accusing the billionaire and his company of failing to pay him after the deal fell through.
The suit claimed Musk and X lured Lemon into the deal promising $1.5 million annually, full authority over his content, and financial incentives in a bid to profit off his reputation and attract advertisers, only to cancel last minute.
The complaint alleged that Musk and X “never intended to fulfill their representations and promises to Lemon” and instead “only intended to publicize a partnership between X and Lemon” to promote the company, improve their reputation, and profit off Lemon’s name.
