New details regarding Liam Payne have emerged as court documents revealed that his psychiatrist stopped giving the singer treatment in September and said he needed a “higher level of care.”

Payne’s psychiatrist reportedly faced a difficult decision to end their professional relationship after carefully assessing various options. Although he was stepping away from treatment, the mental health professional provided a detailed plan for Payne to continue supporting his mental health. According to documents obtained by TMZ, she advised him to avoid heavy drinking, adhere to his prescribed medication responsibly, and attend weekly therapy sessions to address his mental health challenges.
Additionally, she recommended further testing and provided a list of rehabilitation facilities and specialists to assist in his recovery. In her final letter, the psychiatrist expressed her wishes for Payne’s recovery and progress, reportedly writing, “Thank you for your understanding, and I wish you the very best in your continued journey toward mental health and well-being.”

As previously reported, the singer died after falling from the balcony of his hotel room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He suffered fatal injuries, and a toxicology report revealed multiple substances in his system at the time of his death. Five individuals are now facing charges for his death which including his friend and a hotel worker.
Payne was laid to rest in the UK on November 20, surrounded by friends and loved ones.
