Teresa Giudice called out Caroline Manzo for siding with Tommy Manzo over her own sister, Dina Manzo, while appearing on a podcast on Tuesday.
Months after Tommy was found guilty of hiring an assault on Dina’s husband, Dave Cantin, the 52-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star reacted to the family drama while also shading Sofia Vergara, 52, and Tamra Judge, 57, as rude, revealing she recently paid ex-husband Joe Giudice‘s taxes, teasing a new restaurant, and more.
“To me, that’s a no-no,” Teresa stated on the December 31 episode of the AllAboutTRH Podcast. ” It’s your sister and that was her husband’s brother. I don’t know … That was a lot of manipulation going on over there because you should believe your sister. That’s how I see it, but listen, I’m not in their shoes. I don’t know what the hell happened with them. I feel bad for that family because they were all close at one point … I don’t know what Caroline was told, but how can you not believe your sister?”
“And don’t write a letter,” she added, signaling the letter of support Caroline wrote for Tommy. “I wouldn’t do that. If anything, I would just stay out of it and let the courts decide.”
When Teresa was asked if any Housewives had been rude to her, she first named Sofia, who she previously called out for refusing a photo, before saying she’s all about “Housewives sisterhood.”
“None of us should go against each other. We should all support each other because we’re under the Bravo family,” she reasoned as she remembered her past drama with Tamra, who raised questions about her husband, Luis Ruelas, 50.
“You know who’s been rude? Tamra. Stays talking sh*t. She hasn’t been rude to my face, but then when she sees me in person she’s nice to me. But she likes to talk sh*t,” Teresa noted.
Continuing on about The Real Housewives of Orange County, Teresa said she was glad to hear Alexis Bellino, 47, won’t be returning for season 19.
“I’m glad that Alexis did not come back because that was so toxic. Where was it going to go from there?” she wondered. “It’s not like with me. Bravo’s freaking loving that, [the] whole family drama thing. I [hate] it but Bravo’s like, ‘Cha-ching, coa-ching.’”
As she and her ex Joe co-parent their four daughters from different countries, with the girls recently traveling to the Bahamas to spend time with their dad for Christmas, Teresa has remained supportive of her former partner. In fact, she paid off his taxes in 2023.
“I paid his taxes in full. He’s done now. And then he was telling me, ‘Don’t pay them.’ I’m like, ‘Oh yeah.’ He’s like, ‘Why are you paying them? I left the country. I’m not even there. You don’t have to pay them.’ And I’m like, ‘I do have to pay them because we were married,’” she recalled. “[But] I’m sure he is [grateful]. He’s not that mushy type. [But] he sent me something on Instagram, he’s like, ‘Just want you to know you’re the best mom ever.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you should put it out there in writing.’ I know I am. I don’t need him to tell me. My kids know it, that’s all that matters.”
In addition to staying on good terms with Joe herself, Teresa said Luis also has a friendship with her ex.
“They talk more than me and him talk. They get along good,” she confirmed.
Looking back at her past stint in prison, Teresa admitted to fearing she’d be fired from RHONJ.
“I thought I was not coming back because I thought when you go to prison, people are gonna judge you and think it’s bad, so because you have that on your record, some people judge you,” she explained. “Now even the president has a conviction. Look at what happened to Martha Stewart. There’s a lot of corruption that goes on in the world … I think I shouldn’t care about going away anymore.”
As for what’s next, Teresa said she’s in negotiations to open a Mediterranean restaurant.
“I love Greece. If I have a restaurant, of course, it’s gonna be fun,” she shared. “I’m definitely doing it with someone else, a partner, and then [my daughter Gia Giudice] would help also. The other girls would help also and [Luis Ruelas Jr.], just me and the kids mostly.”
